A Note From The Editor

I grew up on country music. The heartfelt southern tunes were the only thing my mom played on the car radio as she toted us kids around in the days before iPods. And my dad would grab his guitar and belt my grandfather’s country gospel in our Georgia home. I guess you can say I come from good ole country roots.

In college I had sort of fallen out of the country music scene having replaced it with pop music and pop culture. It was only after I literally fell into my job at a country music radio station that I was reminded of my old love for the genre. However, at that point I had many loves – pop culture, fashion, Pinterest and country music!

I soon realized that I didn’t have to choose between country music or pop culture, nor separate them. Turns out, country music is blending the two worlds together all on it’s own; I just happen to have a passion for documenting it. Welcome to Country Crossover where country music meets pop culture! This website is all about finding those ways to combine country music/style with pop culture and most of all embracing it!
