Miranda Lambert to Guest Judge on Project Runway

I’ve always said Miranda Lambert would make a great judge on a reality show. Of course I was thinking more along the lines of American Idol or The Voice, but hey, Project Runway isn’t half bad. Miranda will be as a guest judge on Lifetime’s hit fashion show!

Now, I think she’ll do just fine as a judge – she definitely has outspoken opinion – but I’ve never thought of Miranda as a particularly fashionable celebrity. Her last trip down the red carpet for the American Country Awards was widely pannedfor her poor wardrobe choice. She’s more of a jeans and t-shirt girl than an elaborate dress girl.

On the other hand, her stint on Project Runway isn’t the first time Miranda has judged fashion on the runway. Earlier this year, the singer lent her fashion opinion on another reality show (TLC’s Say Yes To The Dress) when band mate Angaleena Presley was looking for a wedding gown. And she certainly had a lot to say! Just check out the videos below!

Miranda has already taped the episode for the 11th season of Project Runway which starts January 24th. Other celebrity judges for the upcoming season include: Bette Midler, Susan Sarandon, John Legend, Joan and Melissa Rivers. No word yet on when exactly Miranda’s episode will air.
