Kelly Clarkson Making Music with 'Nashville' Star

So I’m perusing Twitter this morning before I got out of bed, a habit that’s fallen on me lately, and I notice a rather interesting tweet from Kelly Clarkson. See for yourself below!

Now, there’s something I should get off my chest while we’re on the subject: I love Kelly Clarkson. And when I say love, I mean love! I don’t care if she sings pop or country or the phonebook – although I’ve been doubly excited about her recent country undertakings. Kelly Clarkson, to me, is an amazing artist. Yes, I’m that person at the red light singing her music at the top of my lungs wishing I could hit her notes… I can’t get enough!

Ok, now that I’ve said that, you may understand my excitement as her tweet came across my feed. Even more exciting is that ABC’s “Nashville” has become one of my favorite shows! I love Chip Esten’s character, Deacon Claybourne, and his soothing voice is surprising and stellar. I cannot wait for their duet. I repeat: I CANNOT WAIT for their duet. I’m even excited about the hand claps. So excited that I may or may not have directly tweeted Kelly Clarkson and checked my phone for the next hour hoping for a reply. (she didn’t by the way)

Perhaps the upcoming collaboration will become part of the show! With Kelly guest starring as the pop/country crossover queen who tours with Juliette and Rayna! Ok, maybe I’m going a little too far, but you never know!
