Blake Shelton to Appear On Malibu Country

The Voice may be on hiatus, but Blake Shelton is still a busy man in the television industry. The Huffington Post has confirmed that Blake will appear on ABC’s sitcom, Malibu Country, with Reba McEntire! And this isn’t just any guest starring role; Blake will appear as Reba’s red headed brother!

Blake and Reba are sure to be a hilarious duo, given the pair have already appeared on television together twice hosting the 2011 and 2012 ACM awards. Blake is no stranger to network television, but his brotherly role will be the first acting gig for the country star.

Reba has bagged Blake for her show, but she’s got her eye on another musical guest star before Malibu Country ends its first season. “I’ve already talked to Blake [Shelton] and Kelly [Clarkson] and they said that they would appear,” she said a while back. One out of two isn’t bad, but Kelly Clarkson would be a fabulous addition to the show! What character do you think she should play?

Blake’s Malibu Country debut will be March 1. The show airs Friday nights on ABC.
