Country music fans rejoice! YouTube has recognized the need for a country music channel and reciprocated in a big way. They launched an all country channel which includes original country music themed shows and your favorite country music.

YouTube partnered with Los Angeles entertainment firm Greenlight Media & Marketing LLC and created the channel entitled “Country Now.”

Greenlight president Dominic Sandifer pitched the idea for a country music channel to YouTube in hopes country music fans would have a place to gather on the internet.

The one year deal includes eight original programs which will be about 20 minutes in length. For now, Country Now has launched 4 shows: “Hear & Now,” hosted by Stokes Nielsen of The Lost Trailers, will highlight the best country music singles each week. “OMC” or “Oh My Country!” will air twice weekly and focus on country fashion. “Country Download” will highlight country music news. “I Luv Country” will be an animated comedic show featuring country music clips.

Are you excited about the all new Country Now Channel?
