Miranda Lambert Inspired Cupcake

Remember when Gigi’s Cupcakes created a Band Perry inspired cupcake? Well, not to be outdone, there now exists a Miranda Lambert inspired cupcake. I enjoyed the idea of country cupcakes so much that I contacted Vanilla Bean Unique Cookies, a local bakery in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The challenge was simple: create a cupcake inspired by a country artist. The staff at Vanilla Bean were tickled by the request and came back with not only a delicious cupcake (I know, I tasted it) but also a touching gesture. They are donating a portion of the sales of “Mama’s Broken Heart” cupcakes and cookies to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, a charity the country music world has supported over the last few decades. I had a blast filming this webisode in the cupcake shop, and an even better time sampling the products!

The Miranda Lambert inspired cupcake, “Mama’s Broken Heart,” is a pink velvet cupcake with a vanilla cream center topped with a raspberry butter cream and a milk chocolate heart. It is wonderful! My boyfriend even said it was the best cupcake he’s ever eaten, and he’s had his fair share of cupcakes!
