Country Inspired Concert Outfits

I have a secret: I have an inner fashionista. I’ve been known to play dress up in the middle of the night for no reason other than trying new outfit combinations with the pieces in my closet. I have an extensive collection of shoes and handbags. For months now I’ve been gathering bracelets because I felt like I didn’t have enough “stackable” options. I try, too hard sometimes, to be fashionable.

So imagine my excitement when Apricot Lane Boutique in Fort Wayne allowed me to have free reign of their store and put together 5 outfits for Country Crossover! (uhhh… I was like a little school girl) I was a bit nervous having never played stylist with so many options, but I am kind of in love with the end result.

I focused on country inspired outfits that you could wear to any summer concert. I really enjoyed taking current trends and putting a little country spin on it. You don’t have to deck out in jeans, boots, wranglers and a cowboy hat to represent country style – You can take a few country inspired pieces and mix it up! Trust me, Carrie Underwood does it all the time!
