Kacey Musgraves Featured in Oreo Commercial

The commercial itself is adorable, but the new Oreo ad “Daydream” is even sweeter with Kacey Musgraves singing in the background!
Kacey sings a lighthearted song involving daydreams of what might have been had she’d given her crush an Oreo cookie. Would it not have ended like it did, she sings through the 30 second spot in true Kacey fashion – you can even hear a banjo strumming in the track!
Kacey joins the Oreo “Wonderfilled” campaign adding to an already impressive string of commercials. I couldn’t help but smile watching the half animated-half action Father’s Day commercial. Owl City also lends his voice to a few Oreo commercials including a happy ending to the classic big bad wolf tale.
The Oreo company has said they hope to “wake up the inner child in you” with the campaign. One thing’s for sure: It has me wondering. If only finding true love was as easy as an Oero cookie…
