Country Inspired: Burlap Banners

Oh Pinterest, with your adorable and simple ideas! I recently discovered burlap (I know, I’m way late to this party) and have since fallen in love with it’s rustic charm.

Burlap can be added to almost any project giving it a country feel. In fact, I recently did a little Pinterest project of my own involving burlap. You can see my burlap initial plaques on my Instagram page. The next time I sit down for a craft day I’m going to give burpap banners a try.

Burlap banners are ridiculously versatile and easy to work with. You can paint it, sew it, sharpie it – my favorite method – and add other fabrics to it for a unique and personal look perfect for any occasion.

I personally love the idea of adding burlap to a wedding. Number 7 would be a perfect addition to a country wedding, don’t you think?
