Modern Country Fashion: Muted Florals

The weather has been unbareably hot in Los Angeles this week - certainly not the Fall weather you'd expect come mid September! Regardless of the temperature, I'm still feeling the need to dress for the changing season. I saw this skirt and immediately had to have it! The muted florals provide the perfect tranistion pattern from summer to fall and the addition of the sheer stripes makes the skirt feel modern. I paired it with a classic country chambray top, a staple in any country wardrobe. Adding statement jewelry and metallic heels pulls this modern country look together making it appropriate for day or night.
