Lady Antebellum Writes Song for Nicholas Sparks Movie

As a HUGE fan of both Lady Antebellum and Nicholas Sparks, I couldn't be happier the two have come together for the new movie "The Best of Me!"

The filmmakers sent Lady Antebellum the script and asked the band to write a song specifically for the movie.

"To be able to write for one specific thing and to put ourselves into the story, because we really try to write from our own personal experience, was really cool," Hilary Scott tell People Magazine. "It's a really special, sweet story."

The film, based off of Nicholas Sparks' best selling novel "The Best of Me," is centered around two high school sweethearts who find love more than 20 years later.

The song is true to the story. "It was fun to follow different scenes of the movie and put that in the song. It was such a cool opportunity," Dave Haywood says.

I Did With You will be on "The Best of Me" soundtrack out October 7th. The film, starring James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan, hits theaters October 17th.
