Way to take a stand Miranda!
The "Little Red Wagon" singer posted this shot to her Instagram to take a stand against the controversial comments made by radio programmer Keith Hill last month.
According to Hill, “If you want to make ratings in country radio, take females out. Trust me, I play great female records and we’ve got some right now; they’re just not the lettuce in our salad. The lettuce is Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and artists like that. The tomatoes of our salad are the females.”
Lambert is just the latest female artist to take a stand against Hill, along with Maggie Rose, Kasey Musgraves and Martina McBride, who started the "tomatoes" t-shirt campaign.
It's a big week in country music, with the CMT Awards Wednesday June 10th and CMA fest June 11th-14th. Who do you think will be the first country star to call out Hill? Let us know in the comments below!
